Vice President, Quality Assurance Advocate
My journey began with the aspirations of my parents, who instilled in me the values of hard work, quality, and innovation from a young age. George’s Welding isn’t just a business; it’s a legacy built on dreams and dedication.
I was employed by my father when I was only 14 years old. You could find me sweeping the shop floor, driving forklifts, and cutting steel on the saw during school vacations, summers and weekends. Over time, I fell in love with the trade and have never looked back. Every experience shaped my understanding of our industry and instilled in me a profound sense of pride in our family business.
At George’s Welding, our success isn’t just measured in the structures we build; it’s measured in the values we uphold, the relationships we nurture, and the legacy we leave behind. Every member of our team is valued and respected. We believe in creating an environment where they feel appreciated and are truly a part of our family.
Beyond the walls of our company, I am deeply committed to elevating industry standards and supporting the next generation of construction professionals. I remain engaged in the community through my service on the Florida International University Moss School of Construction Industry Advisory Council, where I contribute strategic insight to strengthen academic programs, enhance student recruitment, and build meaningful partnerships between the university and the construction industry. I am also a member of the ABC Florida East Coast Board of Directors and actively participate in key professional organizations, including Associated Builders and Contractors, the American Institute of Steel Construction, and the American Welding Society, reflecting my dedication to mentorship, advocacy, and the continued growth and innovation of our industry.
