My venture into this industry sprouted from a long-standing interest in this field of work, prompting me to pursue studies abroad. Through word-of-mouth, I learned about the reputation of George’s Welding Services as an outstanding company. Intrigued, I submitted my application, and for the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of being a part of their team.

Hailing from Santa Clara, Cuba, I embarked on a global journey that refined my professional acumen. After pursuing my master’s degree in metallurgical engineering in Russia and adding a certification in industrial mechanics to my credentials, I returned briefly to Cuba. My trajectory then took me to Venezuela before I finally anchored myself in Miami, Florida, where I’ve lived for nearly a decade.

As the Production Manager at George’s Welding Services for the past six years, my pivotal role entails fostering synergy between the engineering team and shop employees. Ensuring efficient collaboration with the project management department, I guarantees smooth operational processes throughout the company.

I thrive on innovation and welcome challenging projects that push the industry’s boundaries over monotonous tasks. Two of my favorite endeavors include the Jackson Hospital Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center and the W.T. Sampson School at the Naval Station in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

For me, the welding industry has underscored the significance of teamwork. I value the collective input at George’s Welding Services and often lean on the owner’s invaluable experience and insights.

My motivstion springs from various sources: the unwavering dedication of the company’s owners, the bonds I’ve nurtured over the years, and the comprehensive benefits that the company offers, which ripple out to support not only me but also my family.
