OVERVIEW

Aloft South Beach stands on the grounds of the historic 1954 Ankara Motel. The design called for the original four-story structure to be restored, while a new eight-story tower was created to transform the site into a 235-room resort. The design focused on preserving the Art Deco-inspired architecture on the exterior while breathing fresh life into a newly constructed interior, melding retro chic with a contemporary touch.

The hotel features a stylish lobby with signature Aloft brand bars and lounges including W XYZSM Bar, re:mixSM lounge and refuel coffee bar. Guestrooms are spacious with sleek, modern furnishings, decorative South Beach-style prints, colorful bed paneling and full-height windows. It also includes an outdoor deck, pool and bar, meeting spaces and the Stephen Starr restaurant Continental.
