This summer, students had the opportunity to explore careers in construction through the Builders of Tomorrow Summer Camp, an immersive program hosted in partnership with Florida International University’s Moss Department of Construction Management.

As one of the camp’s proud sponsors, George’s Welding joined industry partners in supporting a week of hands-on learning experiences designed to spark interest in construction and engineering fields among middle and high school students.

Throughout the program, students gained first-hand exposure to construction management through interactive workshops, site visits, and demonstrations led by professionals. Activities included exploring project planning, structural design, safety practices, and the technologies shaping the future of the industry.

The camp not only provided valuable educational experiences but also introduced students to the many career pathways available in the construction industry, from management and design to steel fabrication and field installation. By partnering with FIU Moss School of Construction Management and other industry leaders, George’s Welding is proud to play a role in cultivating the next generation of builders.
