OVERVIEW

The FAU Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute is a cutting-edge, four-story educational classroom and laboratory building. Spanning 58,000 square feet, this neuroscience facility was purposefully designed to cater to students in the fields of bioengineering, bioinformatics, and neurobiology.

CHALLENGE

The biggest challenge we faced with this project was the uncertainty surrounding its execution. When we submitted our bid six months into the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic outlook was unclear. We were unsure whether the project would proceed amidst the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic, which added a layer of complexity to our planning and decision-making process.

RESULTS

Despite facing challenges during the construction period, our team’s quick adaptability and unwavering dedication enabled us to deliver exceptional services. This commitment to excellence was recognized when we were honored with the ABC Excellence in Construction Award for 2022. After 14 months of hard work, we are proud to say that this project was completed to perfection.
