The NBC Universal Telemundo Center serves as the global headquarters situated in Miami, Florida. This facility houses news, sports, entertainment, digital production, and original series. Covering 21 acres and spanning 476,000 square feet, it accommodates approximately 1,500 employees. Offering state-of-the-art multimedia production capabilities. As a Hispanic-owned company, this project holds significant importance for us and the Hispanic community, marking a significant step forward in Hispanic media. Our efforts were recognized with the 2018 ABC Excellence in Construction Award.
Notably the time constraints imposed by the General Contractors schedule emphasizing the necessity to meet the contractual turnover date. Following numerous meetings and brainstorming sessions, the final design for the monumental stairs was established. Meticulous attention to detail was crucial to meet the owners’ desire for perfection. As the staircase serves as a prominent art feature of the Telemundo Center, our team worked tirelessly, including weekends and nights, to ensure its flawless execution.
Embracing the challenge, we thoroughly executed every task to perfection, ensuring compliance with the contractual turnover date. The central stairs, crafted entirely from stainless steel with a brushed finish and perforated metal panels, demanded an extraordinary level of detail. Our dedication left both the General Contractor and owner delighted with our performance.
